Your file stays your file.

When you select a file in a diagnostic tool, its bytes stay inside your browser. The tool code does not upload your selected files to FileDoctor's server.

Files and reports

Files are read using browser APIs, with a 64 MB per-file limit. ZIP and GZIP decompression are subject to additional limits. Results and generated copies remain in your browser session unless you choose to download them. We do not store or retain selected files on our VPS.

Normal website requests

Like other websites, our hosting server processes requests for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and images. Standard server access logs may include IP address, browser information, pages requested and request times. Site verification and advertising scripts, if configured by the site operator, may process data under their own policies.

Third-party code

Core diagnostic tools do not require a third-party API. Advertising or verification tags may be added later. Browser privacy controls and applicable consent choices remain relevant.
